We are seeking a highly skilled Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team at Prisma Health Urgent Care of SC, P.C. in Woodruff, SC.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality patient care in a fast-paced urgent care environment, working collaboratively with center physicians to provide exceptional medical services.
- Develop and implement effective treatment plans, ensuring accurate and timely documentation of patient records.
- Provide education and support to patients and families, promoting health and wellness through evidence-based practices.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of policies and procedures that enhance patient care and safety.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care, from initial assessment to discharge.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research, technologies, and best practices, applying this knowledge to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Advanced degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program of study.
- Licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in accordance with the state of South Carolina.
- 2+ years of experience in urgent care or emergency medicine, with a strong background in patient assessment, diagnosis, and treatment.
- Current DEA registration, preferred.
- Meets eligibility requirements for credentialing as part of the Prisma Health Urgent Care & Prisma medical staff.
- BLS certification is required.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
