Position Overview:
ECU Health Physicians and ECU Health Medical Center are expanding their interventional radiology services and are in search of a qualified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant. The selected candidate will play a crucial role in providing consultations and managing the daily care of patients undergoing interventional radiology procedures.
Qualifications:
We prefer applicants with a minimum of one year of experience in a provider role. Candidates with backgrounds in surgical, ICU, or step-down care who are interested in gaining consultative experience are highly encouraged to consider this opportunity.
About ECU Health Medical Center:
As the only level 1 trauma center in eastern North Carolina, ECU Health Medical Center serves as a primary destination for specialized medical care.
Key Features of the Role:
- Employment is through ECU Health.
- Hospital privileges will be granted at ECU Health Medical Center.
- You will be part of a well-established clinical team, which includes six physicians and three Advanced Practice Providers.
- Your clinical duties will encompass rounding, conducting consultations, taking patient histories, performing physical examinations, ordering diagnostic tests, educating patients, executing bedside procedures, and providing outpatient care through the ARU at ECU Health Medical Center.
- The work schedule is Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
- This position does not require on-call duties or holiday work.
- BLS certification from The American Heart Association is mandatory.
- A comprehensive provider benefits package, including relocation assistance, is available.
