About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Sales Coordinator to support our sales and marketing department in optimizing revenue and bookings for the hotel. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of personal appearance and grooming, approaching all encounters with guests and employees in an attentive, friendly, courteous, and service-oriented manner.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain organized and accurate filing systems on all accounts, including complete files on each active, prospective, or buying account, and trace files for future activities.
  • Correspond with prospects and clients, answering questions about the hotel's venue options, rates, room types, packages, or promotions.
  • Send proposals and/or invoices accurately, timely, and professionally.
  • Perform research functions on competitive hotels, venues, clients, trends, and prospects.
  • Gather and assemble sales collateral and correspond with clients.
  • Enter, retrieve, or reconcile rooming lists, event orders, or other information in customer relationship management systems.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent Experience in administrative functions, telephone, email, and filing systems.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office or similar computer applications.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field or Associate's degree with two years' experience in an administrative role.
  • One year experience in hospitality or Two years of progressive experience in a hotel environment.
  • Experience with Delphi FDC or Sales Pro Experience with brand's PMS and sales-related applications.
