About the Job

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Data Center Business Development professional to join our team at Alfa Laval. As a key member of our commercial business development team, you will be responsible for driving growth and awareness of our gasketed plate heat exchanger technology in the data center market.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive business development plan aligned with the company's strategy and targets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers, emphasizing the value of Alfa Laval's product and service portfolio.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, such as tradeshows, webinars, and site visits, to increase market awareness and generate leads.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create engaging content for the product portfolio.
  • Establish thought leadership and technology expertise through social media, speaking engagements, and other activities.
  • Work closely with the data center team to create account strategies aligned with customer objectives.
  • Coordinate and support the Business Unit in analyzing and prioritizing business opportunities.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and acquire product-specific technical knowledge.
  • Identify and remove barriers to market penetration and increased market share.
  • Manage leads and project data in CRM software to enable data-driven decision-making.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in the data center industry.
  • Technical knowledge within the heat exchanger industry.
  • Strong organizational skills to prioritize tasks and operations.
  • Strong networking and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
