Delta-T Group is seeking a qualified Crisis Stabilization Specialist to provide community-based support services to adults in need of crisis stabilization.
Job SummaryThis is a short-term, 8-10 hour per day, assignment that requires the provision of crisis stabilization services to adults at imminent risk of hospitalization and out of home placement. The successful candidate will develop a therapeutic relationship with clients, encourage response in treatment, and link clients to necessary outpatient treatment providers.
Responsibilities- Provide crisis stabilization services to adults, including acquiring basic living skills and developing a safety plan.
- Develop a therapeutic relationship with clients and encourage response in treatment.
- Link clients to necessary outpatient treatment providers, including outpatient counseling, medication management, and group counseling.
- Implement safety plans and assess and assist in alleviating high-risk behaviors.
- Provide maximum and accurate billable case management services per the client's Individualized Service Plan (ISP).
- Maintain up-to-date client documentation and prepare timely and accurate reports.
- Licensed or registered as a Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) by the Commonwealth of Virginia Board of Health Professions.
- Cannot be employed with multiple Community Based agencies.
- Must have and continue to receive training in the characteristics of mental illness and appropriate interventions.
- Establish a relationship with a leading referral agency for behavioral health professionals.
