About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Apartment Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at KETTLER.

Job Summary

The Apartment Maintenance Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of apartments and buildings, ensuring they meet high standards of quality and curb appeal. This is a critical role that requires excellent leadership skills, technical knowledge, and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise maintenance staff and ensure efficient execution of tasks and projects.
  • Conduct regular inspections of apartments and buildings to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders and inventory management.
  • Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan.
  • Collaborate with the Maintenance Manager to create and manage budgets and schedules.
  • Respond promptly to resident requests for maintenance and service, addressing concerns and resolving issues in a timely manner.
  • Foster a culture of customer satisfaction, ensuring residents receive exceptional service and support.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in apartment maintenance, preferably in a supervisory role.
  • Universal EPA/CFC Certification and mastery of appliance, electrical, and plumbing repair.
  • Strong understanding of HVAC repair and ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
  • Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation for on-call emergencies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with residents, staff, and vendors.
  • Ability to lift 60 lbs., walk grounds and apartments, and perform general physical activities.
