About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Document Control Specialist to join our Engineering Services team at Symbotic. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the document control system, ensuring accuracy and compliance with product lifecycle management tools.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the document control system, including reviewing and validating Engineering Change Requests (ECRs) and Engineering Change Notices (ECNs)
  • Develop and maintain policies and procedures for document control systems in support of Engineering Change Management processes
  • Provide PLM system training to employees and provide user support in areas of PLM, Teamcenter, and SAP (ERP)
  • Coordinate material disposition for completed ECOs and manage cross-functional Change Review Board (CRB) meetings
  • Examine documents such as blueprints, drawings, change orders, and specifications to verify completeness and accuracy of data
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience maintaining electronic and physical record compliance with a product lifecycle management tool
  • Ability to work autonomously or in a team environment
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Competent in writing and formatting of procedures and documents
  • Competent in computer applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook
  • Understanding of office procedures, including filing, record management, and archiving documentation
  • Experience with SAP ERP and knowledge of Engineering Change Request (ECR) process is a plus
