Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Industrial Engineering Manager to lead our distribution center operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in process design, work measurement, and productivity improvement.

Key Responsibilities

* Oversee a team of industrial engineers and provide leadership and prioritization of projects to ensure milestones and budgets are met.
* Utilize project management tools to plan, develop, and coordinate tasks, delivering quantifiable results.
* Manage the creation and maintenance of accurate engineered standards through time and frequency studies.
* Develop and maintain best practices for all job functions.
* Lead, test, and implement new concepts to enhance process flow and setup in distribution centers, considering ergonomic designs.
* Assist in the design and installation of material handling equipment in new and existing distribution centers.
* Use labor data to justify capital expenditures and support capital projects with work sampling, ROI, and cost/benefit analyses.
* Ensure accuracy in cost, capacity, and timing assumptions for projects.
* Develop and present recommendations to senior management.
* Support business objectives through needs assessment, work methods analysis, and project implementation.
* Create standard operating procedures and build strong relationships with distribution operations teams to coach and train on best practices.
* Assist in developing processes for labor forecasting, staffing, modeling, and performance reporting.
* Partner with DC Ops Leadership to develop and validate financial and operating expense budgets.
* Collaborate with Continuous Improvement Team and DC Operations for cross-functional project support.

Requirements

* Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering.
* 5+ years of experience in process design, work measurement, productivity improvement, cost reduction, and project implementation.
* Proven track record of leading, mentoring, and coaching teams to achieve performance goals and professional development milestones.
* Experience in high-volume, fast-paced distribution centers.
* Expertise in work measurement, standard data, and predetermined time systems and tools, with a focus on time studies.
* Experience in developing, maintaining, and implementing management observation and accountability programs.
* Strong analytical skills to gather, analyze, and interpret information to develop, recommend, and implement solutions while maintaining budget.
* Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification preferred.
