Job Title: EE Technical Program Manager

About the Job:

As an Electrical Engineering Technical Program Manager at Foxconn Industrial Internet - FII, you will be responsible for managing projects related to embedded and computer hardware/firmware. You will provide engineering services to existing and potential customers regarding product development and implementation issues. The position requires international travel to Taiwan and possibly other Foxconn sites.

Responsibilities:

  • Direct support for customers on Server/Storage/Appliance projects in the areas of embedded and computer hardware or firmware/software technical program management from Product Concept to Mass Production.
  • Provide engineering service to customers regarding new product development and deliverables, manage routine meetings, and track design and validation issues/solutions/fixes.
  • Communicate with customers in system specification definition, design proposal, issues, and solutions in detail.
  • Back End interface with Foxconn design/test/validation engineering teams and manufacturing/operations teams, guiding and directing the outcome to meet customer needs during all phases of the NPI process.
  • Support on-site debugging/meetings at customer sites, tracking listed AI's found by external customers, internal engineering design teams, and factory during product development.
  • Collaborate with the local San Jose team and customers to investigate, reproduce, and provide guidance to back end RD and manufacturing teams in solving issues.
  • Travel internationally to Taiwan and possibly other Foxconn sites for on-site support.

Requirements:

  • B.S. in Electrical and Computer Engineering or related fields; M.S. is a plus.
  • 0-7 years of x86 computer hardware/Embedded uPs, and firmware/software experience.
  • English proficiency required; Mandarin is a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills, familiar with Product Development Process.
  • Excellent communication and collaborative skills.
  • Proficiency in x86 system hardware and firmware, or embedded system design.
  • Microsoft Office & scripting skills.
