About the Role

Mass General Brigham is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to fill the position of Lead Nurse Specialist in our Progressive Care Unit. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and leading a team of nurses to achieve high-quality patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of nurses in the Progressive Care Unit, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Develop and implement effective care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care and achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Monitor and evaluate patient progress, making adjustments to care plans as needed.
  • Provide education and training to nursing staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Current RN licensure in the state of Massachusetts.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a progressive care unit or similar setting.
  • Proven leadership and management skills, with experience in leading a team of nurses.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of flexibility and adaptability.
