We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Critical Care Nurse to join our team at Swedish Health Services. As a Critical Care Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Telemetry department.
Key Responsibilities- Assess, identify, and prioritize patient needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans to optimize patient outcomes.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care, ensuring seamless transitions and continuity of care.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, lab results, and other relevant data to inform care decisions.
- Administer medications, treatments, and other interventions as prescribed by physicians and in accordance with hospital policies.
- Provide education and support to patients and families, promoting health literacy and self-management skills.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of evidence-based practices.
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
- Current Washington State Registered Nurse license.
- National Provider BLS certification.
- National Provider ACLS certification.
- National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale Certificate.
- At least 1 year of ICU Telemetry nursing experience.
- National Certification in Critical Care Nursing.
