Lead Toddler Teacher Opportunity

The Goddard School in Vinings seeks a dedicated and experienced Lead Teacher to lead one of our toddler classrooms, catering to children aged 1-2 years. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring compliance with industry-leading Quality Assurance standards and creating a nurturing learning environment that fosters a lifelong love of learning in the children.

This challenging yet rewarding role involves developing lesson plans based on the Goddard Developmental Guidelines and monthly school themes. You will also be responsible for meeting individual child needs, communicating effectively with parents, participating in staff meetings, designing an appropriate room arrangement, and interacting with children to support their play and learning.

In addition to your teaching responsibilities, you will present expectations tailored to the age and developmental level of the children, plan activities to develop self-esteem and social skills, communicate professionally with parents and staff, build teamwork, and utilize assessment tools. Furthermore, you will commit to ongoing education and stay updated with the latest developments in early childhood education.

To succeed in this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, Child Development, or a related field. Additionally, management experience in a licensed childcare center or preschool is highly desirable.

We offer a competitive salary of $18.00 per hour, along with a $500 sign-on bonus for vaccinated teachers. Our comprehensive benefits package includes three weeks of paid time off per calendar year, paid holidays and inclement weather days, paid birthdays, annual bonuses, discounted childcare, TeleDoc Service, paid CDA Program, and paid trainings.
