Job Overview

Platinum TherapEASE Staffing is a leading provider of rehabilitation staffing services for skilled nursing facilities (SNFs) across the country.

We are seeking a dedicated Speech Therapist to provide hands-on patient care, develop individualized treatment plans, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal communication and swallowing outcomes for our patients.

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and Assess: Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments to determine patients speech, language, and swallowing needs.
  • Treatment Planning: Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices.
  • Patient Care: Provide direct patient care through therapeutic interventions, including speech exercises and communication strategies.
  • Progress Monitoring: Monitor and document patient progress, making adjustments to treatment plans as needed.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure cohesive patient care.
Requirements
  • Licensure: Current state license to practice as a Speech Therapist.
  • Education: Masters or Doctorate in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience preferred, but new graduates are welcome.
  • Clinical Skills: Strong clinical skills and knowledge of speech therapy techniques.
  • Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
