Job Title: WebSphere Administrator

We are seeking a highly skilled WebSphere Administrator to join our team at Focused HR Solutions. As a key member of our technical team, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and support of our WebSphere software in a multi-platform environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Installation, maintenance, and administration of WebSphere Software in a multi-platform environment (Linux and Windows)
  • Proactive resolution of problems and/or alerts received by various monitoring and management systems
  • Resolution of connectivity problems, assisting users, and debugging problems
  • Hands-on technical experience in support of software tools such as WebSphere Application Server and WebSphere Portal
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience with installation, maintenance, administration, and monitoring of WebSphere Software in a multi-platform environment
  • Ability to provide proactive resolution of problems and/or alerts received by various monitoring and management systems
  • Ability to provide resolution of connectivity problems, assisting users, and debugging problems
  • Hands-on technical experience in support of software tools such as WebSphere Application Server
  • Experience with a broad range of technical skills in support of all WebSphere customers
  • Training and/or experience with scripting tools such as Bash, Korn, and Jython
  • Knowledge of change management best practices in a complex hosting environment
