Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled WebSphere Administrator to join our team at Focused HR Solutions. As a key member of our technical staff, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and support of our WebSphere software in a multi-platform environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Installation and Maintenance: Install, configure, and maintain WebSphere software on Linux and Windows platforms.
  • Problem Resolution: Proactively resolve problems and alerts received by various monitoring and management systems.
  • Technical Support: Provide technical support for various departments' applications running on WebSphere and IBM WebSphere MQ.
  • Infrastructure Management: Responsible for the installation, maintenance, support, and configuration of hardware and software.
  • Security and Compliance: Complete implementation of security policies and filters associated with the tools.
Requirements:
  • Technical Expertise: 5+ years of experience with installation, maintenance, administration, and monitoring of WebSphere software in a multi-platform environment.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to provide proactive resolution of problems and/or alerts received by various monitoring and management systems.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to provide resolution of connectivity problems, assisting users, and debugging problems.
  • Technical Knowledge: Hands-on technical experience in support of software tools such as WebSphere Application Server and WebSphere Portal.
