About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Equipment Maintenance Technician to join our team at Toyota Alabama. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance on electrical and mechanical equipment, ensuring the smooth operation of our production processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including inspections, repairs, and replacements of equipment and components.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions, using technical knowledge and skills to resolve issues efficiently.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and coordination of maintenance activities.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to enhance equipment efficiency, safety, and productivity.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, inventory, and equipment history.

Requirements

  • Industrial maintenance and/or military experience, with a strong background in electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Technical knowledge and skills in PLC's, Computers & Information Technology, Hydraulic/Pneumatic, Motion/Motor Control, Welding, Machining, Robotics.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Available to work any shift, including overtime, holidays, weekends, and shutdowns.
