We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Toyota Alabama. As a key member of our General Maintenance Department, you will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance on electrical and mechanical equipment in accordance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance tasks on equipment and machinery to ensure optimal performance and efficiency
- Identify and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions, and implement repairs and maintenance as needed
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement process improvements and equipment upgrades
- Write, program, and troubleshoot programmable logic controllers, CNC machines, and other electronic equipment
- Perform basic administrative tasks, including documentation of work performed
- Industrial maintenance and/or military experience
- Electrical and mechanical knowledge
- Technical knowledge and skills in PLC's, Computers & Information Technology, Hydraulic/Pneumatic, Motion/Motor Control, Welding, Machining, Robotics
- Ability to work any shift, including overtime, holidays, weekends, and shutdowns
- Electrical degree, diploma, or certification of completion for studies of electricity
- Experience with Milling Machines, Lathes, Surface Grinders, or programming CNC Machines
