Endoscopy Clinical Nurse Coordinator Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Endoscopy Clinical Nurse Coordinator to join our team at Henrico Doctors' Hospital Forest. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and coordinating all functions in the endoscopy unit during your designated shift.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient throughput and high-quality patient care.
  • Participate in the ongoing assessment of the quality of patient care services provided in the unit, in collaboration with other members of the management team.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts and other managers to create an environment of teamwork that supports improved outcomes and service.
  • Support a patient-first philosophy and engage in service recovery when necessary.
  • Support the efforts of the facility to improve engagement by operationalizing current nursing strategies, including employee rounding, hourly rounds, and other initiatives.
Requirements:
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
  • Registered Nurse (RN) diploma.
  • At least 1 year of experience in endoscopy.
