Endoscopy Registered Nurse RN PRN Opportunity

Henrico Doctors' Hospital Forest is seeking a skilled Endoscopy Registered Nurse RN PRN to join our team. As a key member of our surgical services department, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the hospital's mission to provide exceptional healthcare services.

Responsibilities:
  • Pre and post-operative care for surgical and endoscopy patients, including gynecological conditions, plastic and reconstructive, urology, and colonoscopy procedures.
  • Assess and monitor acute and chronic pain patients during procedures, anticipating and maintaining adequate inventory of supplies and medications while controlling costs and eliminating waste.
  • Initiate and document patient teaching, including family and/or significant others, while maintaining radiation safety during appropriate endoscopy and pain procedures.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care and excellent outcomes.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (BSN preferred).
  • At least 2 years of experience in surgical services, preferably endoscopy.
