Job Title: Data Science Analyst

Altus Group Limited is seeking a highly skilled Data Science Analyst to join our Valuation team in New York. As a Data Science Analyst, you will play a critical role in supporting the inspection, cleansing, transformation, and modeling of data to uncover valuable insights and inform business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and improve existing analysis templates to increase efficiency and lead initiatives that complement our valuation and data platforms.
  • Apply advanced Excel skills, including VBA programming, data simulation, analytics, and formula usage, to analyze and visualize complex data sets.
  • Develop and present data visualizations to improve client deliverables, using formats such as tables, charts, graphs, diagrams, plots, geospatial maps, figures, and correlation matrices.
  • Participate in comprehensive training, including On-Boarding Training and become ARGUS Certified.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Data/Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field with a minimum 3.2 GPA.
  • Strong Excel proficiency and ability to complete complex Excel tasks, with experience in VBA programming and knowledge of R or Python Statistical Programming, SQL, Tableau/Power BI, and Snowflake.
  • Ability to communicate proactively and work independently or within a team environment.
  • Critical Thinking, Presentation Skills, and Project Management.
