Job Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled Data/Business Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in data structure management, analytics, and report generation using Power BI, as well as a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Computer Science, Information Systems, Construction, or related fields.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and track project performance metrics, reports, and collaboration sites to assist with project/program schedule monitoring and communicate status updates to management teams.
  • Analyze and use data via Power BI to identify key project issues and variance from approved plans.
  • Perform data visualization and forecast trends using statistics and established pattern-finding techniques.
  • Manage data sets, ensuring they are clean, accurate, and ready for analysis, involving data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.
  • Prepare and assist in various levels of project reporting.
  • Assist in process development and implementation of project control reporting procedures.
Qualifications
  • A Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Computer Science, Information Systems, Construction, or related fields.
  • 5+ years of professional experience working directly as a full-time Data/Business Analyst using Power BI.
  • Strong understanding of data analysis and visualization principles and proficiency in Power BI and other data tools.
  • Excel expertise including macro development, look-up tables, complex formulas, and pivot tables.
  • Proficiency in data management, production, and report development is required.
  • Strong computer skills (MS Office, MS Project, Adobe Acrobat).

This is a full-time, on-site position. Candidates are expected to live in or near the New York metropolitan area.
