About Us

At Optimum Wound Care, we prioritize delivering exceptional care and support to our patients. We are seeking a skilled Wound Care Nurse (LPN or RN) to join our team.

Job Responsibilities
  • We conduct thorough wound assessments, evaluating size, depth, and appearance to develop effective care plans.
  • Our Wound Care Nurses work collaboratively with physicians/Nurse Practitioners to implement individualized care plans and ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • We provide direct wound care treatments, including dressing changes, compression wraps, and topical applications, under the guidance of healthcare providers.
  • Patient education is a priority; we teach wound care procedures, infection prevention, and home care techniques to ensure successful management.
  • Regular progress monitoring and documentation enable us to adjust treatment plans as needed and prevent complications.
  • We maintain open communication with the healthcare team to guarantee continuity of care and high-quality patient outcomes.
Requirements
  • A valid RN/LPN license in KY is required for this position.
  • Experience in wound care is essential, with a minimum of one year.
  • Strong knowledge of wound care management and treatment protocols is necessary for success.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills are crucial for educating patients and collaborating with the healthcare team.
  • Independent work and teamwork are equally valued in this role.
  • Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) and documentation is also required.
Estimated Salary Range: $55,000 - $75,000 per annum
