Job Description:
">The Wound Ostomy Care Nurse plays a pivotal role in providing specialized care to patients with impaired skin integrity, ostomies, and complex wounds. This position requires expertise in assessing, planning, implementing, educating, and evaluating patient care to ensure optimal outcomes.

- Provide direct patient care, consultations, assessments, recommendations, and ongoing re-evaluation of nursing care for hospitalized patients and outpatients under the specific scope of practice.">
- Act as a resource for nursing staff, patients, families, and physicians, fostering a collaborative environment that promotes comprehensive patient care.">
- Evaluate patient progress, adjust treatment plans as needed, and communicate effectively with healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.">
Qualifications:

- A bachelor's degree in nursing and current RN licensure in Kentucky are required.">
- Obtaining Certified Wound Ostomy Continence Nurse (CWOCN) or Certified Wound Ostomy Nurse (CWON) credentials within two years of hire is mandatory.">
- Prior experience as a wound ostomy nurse and a master's degree are desirable qualifications.">
Compensation:
">We offer an estimated salary range of $85,000 to $110,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
