Wound Care Specialist

At Norton Healthcare, we are committed to providing exceptional care to our patients. We seek a highly skilled and compassionate Wound Care Specialist to join our team of certified nursing professionals.
About the Role:
We are looking for a Registered Nurse with expertise in wound ostomy care to provide direct patient care for patients with impaired skin integrity, ostomies, and complex or chronic wounds. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor Degree, Registered Nurse (KY) licensure, and one of the following certifications: CWOCN or CWON. They must obtain the CWOCN or CWON credential within two years of hire. Desired qualifications include a Master Degree, one year of experience as a wound ostomy nurse, and the CWOCN or CWON certification.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, implement, educate, and evaluate patient care
- Collaborate with nursing staff, patients, families, and physicians
- Conduct consultations, assessments, and recommendations
- Ongoing re-evaluation of nursing care for hospitalized patients and outpatients
What We Offer:
We offer a competitive salary range of $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience. Additionally, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
