The Opportunity

We are thrilled to invite applications for the position of Lead Talent Acquisition Strategist. In this pivotal role, you will collaborate closely with our talent acquisition team, leadership, and departmental heads to attract and secure top-tier talent across various disciplines. This position demands extensive industry knowledge and a proven track record in managing multiple full-time recruitment initiatives, particularly in executing strategic sourcing campaigns for both technical and non-technical roles.

The ideal candidate will possess a wealth of experience as an executive recruiter or senior talent acquisition specialist, demonstrating a creative approach to sourcing and a passion for delivering exceptional service. You should be process-oriented, value documentation, and be a strong team player dedicated to fostering growth within the organization while ensuring the success of your hires.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the complete recruitment cycle, from sourcing candidates to conducting interviews, negotiating offers, and finalizing hires.
  • Develop and implement tailored recruitment strategies in partnership with hiring managers to identify the best candidates.
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout all stages of the recruitment process.
  • Assess candidates for cultural fit and motivation rather than merely promoting job openings.
  • Utilize innovative sourcing techniques to engage unique and passive candidates.
  • Maintain effective communication with key stakeholders regarding recruitment progress and updates.
  • Build and nurture relationships within talent communities for both immediate and future opportunities.
  • Provide market insights as a subject matter expert to enhance the recruitment process and add value to stakeholders.
  • Participate in special projects and initiatives, including refining interviewing practices and identifying top talent for senior roles.
  • Collaborate with the recruiting team on university relations to establish talent pipelines and referral networks.
Essential Qualifications
  • Minimum of 5 years of comprehensive recruiting experience.
  • Background in the technology or entertainment sectors.
  • Experience in executive recruitment within a global in-house talent acquisition team or a leading executive search firm.
  • Proven ability to recruit both technical and non-technical leaders while maintaining high standards.
  • Expertise in executing recruitment strategies, including employer branding, candidate management, and diversity sourcing.
  • Strong prioritization skills in a dynamic environment.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and teamwork abilities.
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems.
  • Resourceful self-starter with the ability to prioritize effectively.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
  • Comfortable presenting to large groups during recruitment events.
  • Proficient with relevant tools and platforms (e.g., ATS, LinkedIn, job boards).
  • Motivated, dedicated work ethic, and a collaborative spirit.
