Job DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled instructor to teach Anatomy & Physiology I-IV with Lab (BIOS-251 thru BIOS-256) to undergraduate BSN nursing students on-site in New Orleans, LA. This is a four-course sequence that covers human anatomy and physiology using a body systems approach. The instructor will be responsible for developing and providing students with an approved syllabus, organizing and preparing course materials, and using technology to enhance the learning environment.
Responsibilities- Develop and provide students with an approved syllabus that meets the University's standards.
- Organize and prepare course materials, including textbooks, handouts, and online resources.
- Use technology to enhance the learning environment, including online discussions, assignments, and grading.
- Model effective oral and written communication skills to engage students and improve learning outcomes.
- Set clear expectations for the course, including terminal objectives, assignment dates, and evaluation categories.
- Ensure that exams and assignments align with the course terminal objectives.
- Provide timely feedback to students and demonstrate consistency and fairness in grading.
- A master's or doctorate degree in Anatomy & Physiology or a related field with a minimum of 18 graduate credit hours earned directly in Anatomy & Physiology.
- Ability to provide official transcripts for all earned degrees from a regionally accredited institution.
- Ability to provide verification of foreign credentials if applicable.
- Teaching experience or a proven ability to teach and help others learn.
Chamberlain University is an equal opportunity employer and welcomes applications from diverse candidates. The expected compensation rate for this position is between $1,120 per assignment to $7,245 per assignment, depending on the candidate's education and experience.
