**Key Responsibilities:**

* Conduct scope analysis to determine the full scope of work and estimate requirements
* Utilize historical data to refine unit and person-hour figures
* Provide technical input on project and contract risks
* Prepare detailed discipline estimates by calculating material quantities from engineering drawings
* Engage with clients, vendors, and other stakeholders to discuss estimates and resolve any issues
* Monitor client addendums and advise the estimating team on changes during the estimate period
* Assist with design options and recommend solutions based on cost, quality, and material availability
* Partner with the estimating team to conduct project hand-off meetings
* Identify and recommend vendors and subcontractors to meet project goals
* Uphold the company's values and strategic plan while supporting corporate policies

**Requirements:**

* Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
* At least 2 years in construction, estimating, or cost control
* Experience with alternative construction delivery methods is preferred
* Required company or regulatory certifications, including safety certifications
* Advanced knowledge of HCSS Heavy Bid Estimating Software
* Strong interpersonal skills for effective support, recommendations, and pricing discussions
* Excellent technical writing skills and the ability to prioritize tasks to meet tight deadlines
* Ability to lead estimating activities on large or complex projects
