Responsibilities:
  • Lead the revenue recognition process in accordance with GAAP, ensuring accurate and timely recognition across multiple revenue streams.
  • Utilize accounting software, including NetSuite, to maintain records, generate reports, and identify system improvements.
  • Manage the month-end close process, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
  • Oversee and maintain the integrity of the general ledger, including reconciliations, adjustments, and journal entries.
  • Supervise, mentor, and develop accounting staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.
  • Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and variance analyses to senior management.
  • Collaborate with the Controller to assist in cash flow forecasting, budgeting, and financial planning processes.
  • Lead the preparation for external audits, ensuring that auditor requests are responded to accurately and promptly.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local filings, including taxes, business licenses, and annual information reports.
  • Continually assess and implement process enhancements to improve accuracy, efficiency, and internal controls.
  • Assist with special projects and strategic initiatives as requested by the CFO and Controller, including system implementations and financial modeling.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Minimum 5-7 years of relevant accounting experience.
  • CPA license or actively pursuing CPA licensure preferred.
