Job Summary

Buca di Beppo is seeking a skilled Host/ess to join our team. As a Host/ess, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, setting the tone for an exceptional dining experience. Your primary responsibility will be to create a welcoming atmosphere, ensuring that every guest feels valued and cared for.

Key Responsibilities

  • Answer phone calls in a friendly and timely manner, taking messages and providing accurate information to guests.
  • Greet guests upon arrival, thank them as they depart, and ensure a seamless experience throughout their visit.
  • Take, package, and tender To-Go orders, maintaining accuracy and efficiency.
  • Present accurate bills, collect payments, and balance cash receipts, adhering to cash handling procedures and policies.
  • Monitor the flow of the restaurant, including table turnover, guest arrival, and departure, to ensure a smooth and efficient service.
  • Work collaboratively with the service staff to reset tables quickly and efficiently.
  • Clean up spills and breakage, maintaining a clean and organized arrival area.
  • Pre-set flatware, clean and maintain menus, and ensure the overall cleanliness of the restaurant.
  • Communicate guest needs to management and service staff, ensuring exceptional service and guest satisfaction.
  • Page and seat guests efficiently, making them feel comfortable while waiting.
  • Assist with the sale of gift cards and monitor the cleanliness of the restrooms and lobby area.
  • Welcome and assist job applicants, maintaining a positive and professional image.
  • Maintain walkways inside and outside, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for guests.
  • Assist with locating guests for phone calls or messages, providing exceptional customer service.
  • Thank guests for joining us as they leave, inviting them to return and share their experience with others.
