Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Host/ess to join our team. As a Host/ess, you will be responsible for creating a positive first and last impression for our guests, ensuring a seamless dining experience from arrival to departure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Answer phones in a friendly and timely manner, taking messages and providing accurate information to guests.
  • Greet guests upon arrival and thank them as they depart, ensuring a warm and welcoming experience.
  • Take, package, and tender To-Go orders, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Present accurate bills, collect payments, and secure cash handling procedures.
  • Maintain accurate accounts of coupons, cash, promos, vouchers, and credits.
  • Provide guests with detailed information about our restaurant, including menu offerings and promotions.
  • Maintain the arrival area, ensuring it remains clean and organized throughout the shift.
  • Monitor the flow of the restaurant, including table turnover, guest arrival, and pace of service.
  • Work with service staff to reset tables efficiently and effectively.
  • Clean up accidental spillage or breakage, ensuring a safe and clean environment for guests.
  • Pre-set flatware, clean and maintain menus, and perform other tasks as needed to ensure a smooth dining experience.
  • Communicate guest needs to management and service staff, ensuring seamless execution of our service standards.
  • Page and seat guests efficiently, ensuring a comfortable waiting experience.
  • Assist with the sale of gift cards and monitor the cleanliness of restrooms and lobby areas.
  • Welcome and assist job applicants, maintaining a positive and professional image.
  • Maintain all walkways inside and outside, ensuring a safe and accessible environment for guests.
  • Assist with locating guests for phone calls or messages, ensuring timely and efficient communication.
  • Thank guests for joining us as they leave, inviting them to return and share their experience with others.
