Position Summary:

This role presents an exciting opportunity for a dedicated individual eager to leverage technical expertise in a commercial capacity within the Integrated Components and Solutions Division. The position entails executing various lifecycle functions essential for supporting Electronics components in the aftermarket, while also providing a technical and data-oriented support role within the ICS Aftermarket Commercial team.

Key Responsibilities:

This position will assist the enterprise commercial and go-to-market aftermarket teams as a product knowledge resource for Electronics. A critical aspect of this role will involve translating technical insights from ICS engineering teams into dealer and customer-facing communications. Key deliverables will include leading the creation of Electronics Service Data in collaboration with internal ICS teams and MBD partners. Connecting Service Data to repair and rebuild options is vital for driving and measuring aftermarket services growth. The incumbent will collaborate closely with Aftermarket Electronics Product Support Consultants to support services growth initiatives globally.

Specific duties may include, but are not limited to:
  • Developing and supporting the implementation of processes to generate Service Data for Electronics
  • Advocating for recommendations to OMMs regarding Electronics content
  • Facilitating the integration of Electronics content into Cat and dealer repair options
  • Maintaining a reliable source for reuse, repair, or replacement recommendations for aftermarket Electronics
  • Serving as the subject matter expert for technical support to industry aftermarket teams
  • Linking aftermarket Voice of Customer (VOC) and Voice of Dealer (VOD) insights with new product development
  • Assisting with Life Cycle Manager functions for electronics
  • Supporting the Unlaunched Requirements (ULR) process in coordination with PSLD, procurement, and engineering teams to ensure parts availability
  • Leading special projects as required
Education Requirement:

A Bachelor's degree or 8-10 years of relevant work experience in lieu of formal education.
