We are seeking an Innovation Manager to enhance our Colors division. This role is integral to our team, requiring onsite collaboration throughout the week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a dedicated team of Innovation Scientists to pioneer new technologies that align with market demands and business objectives, working closely with various departments including Technical Applications, Operations, Quality Assurance, Marketing, and Sales.
- Address technical inquiries from clients, focusing on the enhancement and expansion of our existing cosmetic raw materials and ingredient offerings.
- Provide comprehensive technical support across all manufacturing and customer service facets.
- Engage in the development and market introduction of innovative products, overseeing processes from laboratory to pilot and full-scale production.
- A Bachelor's degree or higher in Chemistry or a related scientific discipline from an accredited institution is essential.
- Extensive expertise in Color (Pigments) and their surface treatments.
- Experience in cosmetic formulation is advantageous.
- Solid understanding of Inorganic UV Filters.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in laboratory and/or production settings is preferred.
- Proven ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within diverse teams.
- Capability to independently design, execute, and document experiments, along with presenting findings effectively.
- Familiarity with patent processes is beneficial.
- Experience in planning and conducting experiments related to personal care ingredient development.
- Knowledge of technology transfer procedures from lab to production is preferred.
- Self-driven, innovative problem solver with strong teamwork skills.
- Adept at managing multiple projects simultaneously while adapting to shifting priorities.
- Collaborative work environment with onsite engagement.
