Project Management

Analysis and Design

  • Develop and implement plans for network operating systems, cabling, servers, and client hardware.
  • Assess and recommend vendor software and hardware solutions to enhance service delivery.

Installation and Maintenance

  • Oversee the delivery, installation, and configuration of computing devices and software, adhering to industry standards.
  • Manage the lifecycle of computing devices, including inventory maintenance and preventive measures.
  • Respond to and resolve alerts related to server and device performance, ensuring stability and reliability.

Troubleshooting

  • Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues using established protocols and diagnostic tools.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of problems and resolutions to enhance knowledge sharing.

Documentation and Communication

  • Develop and disseminate updates regarding departmental systems and installations to relevant staff.
  • Manage vendor relationships to address technical issues effectively.

Relationship Management

  • Provide technical support to users, advocating for their needs within the IT framework.
  • Ensure timely completion of projects and requests in alignment with service level agreements.

Qualifications

  • Two years of college coursework.
  • A minimum of five years of relevant experience.
  • Additional education or experience may be considered based on the equivalency formula.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to sit for extended periods, with occasional walking and standing.
  • Capability to lift and install computer equipment as necessary.
