Job Description & Requirements

As a Diagnostic Medical Sonography Specialist, you will perform and monitor echocardiograms, calculating, measuring, and documenting results for physician interpretation. You will collaborate with physicians and staff on patient care and communicate any clinical changes during procedures.

Requirements
  • Education: Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography School.
  • Experience: At least 2 years in an acute care setting.
  • Certifications: Must be registry-eligible for Echocardiographic Technician Certification and have Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
