Registered Dietitian Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Registered Dietitian to oversee the nutritional well-being of our residents in our Skilled Long-term Care facility located in Albany, NY.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct nutrition assessments and develop effective diet plans to meet the unique needs of our residents.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to review and adjust resident care plans.
  • Work closely with Speech Pathologists to ensure appropriate mechanically altered diets are provided for residents with dysphagia.
  • Evaluate and address special needs related to nutrition support, skin breakdown, and significant weight loss.
Requirements:
  • One year of experience working with seniors in a Long-Term Care setting.
  • Bachelor's degree in Nutrition or Dietetics from an accredited college or university, along with completion of an accredited Dietetic Internship program.
  • Knowledge of Local, State, and Federal regulations and the survey process.
