Job Summary

The Assembly Technician position at Airline Hydraulics requires the integration of electronic, pneumatic, and hydraulic components for automated machinery and conveyors. This role involves the use of small hand tools, ability to read a tape measure, and wire electrical panels and devices. Occasional customer deliveries and warehouse functions are also part of the job.

Key Responsibilities
  • Integrate pneumatic components to create assemblies.
  • Verify accuracy and quality in accordance with established control procedures.
  • Cut, crimp, and populate wires and cables according to prints.
  • Assist in warehouse functions, such as lifting boxes and performing quality control on incoming and outgoing material.
  • Deliver products to customer buildings and sites as required.
  • Perform other related tasks as needed.
Requirements
  • Basic mechanical skills and the ability to read a tape measure are required.
  • Ability to read schematics and troubleshoot control systems.
  • Experience with cutting, crimping, and populating wires and cables is preferred, or a willingness to be trained.
  • Must be detail oriented.
  • Minimum of two years of experience is preferred.
  • Experience reading and understanding assembly drawings is a plus.
  • A valid driver's license is required due to occasional delivery responsibilities.
