This leadership position will spearhead our Digital Transformation strategy, concentrating on transitioning from a bespoke software framework to standardized software solutions for our ecommerce and various operational applications. We are in search of an innovative technology leader who will establish our Application Integration team, design a migration plan from a complex custom architecture to a more manageable framework utilizing off-the-shelf solutions, enhance operational processes, identify new applications, oversee the development of new systems through third-party integrators, and drive improvements to existing systems.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Architectural Leadership: Develop and supervise the architecture and integration of business applications, ensuring seamless interoperability and data exchange.
- Technical Guidance: Direct the refinement and stabilization of the current Magento setup, manage the transition of custom ecommerce platforms to Magento, and establish best practices for application upkeep.
- Hands-On Involvement: Actively participate in technical activities, troubleshooting, and optimizing system efficiency.
- Project Coordination: Collaborate with external vendors for significant projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
- Team Development: Mentor and support team members, promoting a collaborative and productive work atmosphere.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science or a related technical discipline.
- A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, including:
- At least 3 years of experience managing a team of developers and integrators, including conducting performance evaluations and encouraging professional growth.
- At least 5 years of experience in designing comprehensive solutions across various applications and systems.
- At least 3 years of experience with Magento, including customization, integration, and performance enhancement.
- At least 5 years of experience in project management, preferably utilizing Agile and Scrum methodologies.
- Experience in managing and integrating CRM systems such as Campaign Monitor.
- Proficiency in integration technologies and middleware.
- A strong understanding of CRM, email marketing platforms (e.g., Campaign Monitor), and ERP systems (e.g., Acumatica).
- Demonstrated experience with integration technologies and middleware solutions, including knowledge of Azure Cloud, Integration Platforms (iPaaS), eCommerce, CRM, and ERP Architectures (SaaS, PaaS), and APIs.
- Ability to effectively collaborate and communicate with both business and technical stakeholders to address technical requirements.
- Proven skills in designing enterprise software solutions based on standard architectural principles and practices.
- At least 5 years of experience with Magento, including customization, integration, and performance optimization.
- Experience with AI technologies, including leveraging AI for job functions and integrating AI into applications.
- Experience with Acumatica ERP, including implementation, customization, and integration. Previous experience in the cosmetics or direct-selling sector is advantageous but not essential.
- Familiarity with ZenDesk or similar help desk software.
- Knowledge of CVent or similar event management platforms.
- Strong interpersonal skills, including attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and effective communication.
Physical demands include arm and hand steadiness and finger dexterity sufficient to operate a keyboard, ten-key, and telephone; frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling up to 25 pounds; occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling up to 40 pounds; may involve walking, standing, sitting, reaching, balancing, bending, crawling, handling, feeling, kneeling, climbing, twisting; and vision, speech, and hearing adequate to perform essential tasks.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
The working environment is primarily indoors in an office setting, with occasional outdoor activities for special events; may require some evening and weekend hours and the use of telephone and other office equipment.
