The Advanced Practice Nurse at Albany Medical Center is a highly skilled and experienced healthcare professional who specializes in delivering advanced patient care services.

This role requires collaboration with physicians and other healthcare providers to provide comprehensive care to patients and their families.


Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct thorough patient assessments and physical examinations
• Order and interpret medical tests to inform diagnoses and treatment plans
• Diagnose medical conditions and administer evidence-based treatments
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records
• Lead and support clinical teams during patient care, promoting a culture of excellence and safety
• Mentor new staff and students, fostering a culture of learning and growth

Qualifications and Requirements:
• Master's Degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
• Current NP license and certifications in ACLS, BLS, and ATLS
• Proficient in computerized medical recordkeeping systems
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders

Physical Demands of the Role:
• Constant standing, walking, and feeling, with frequent lifting, carrying, and reaching
• Occasional climbing, crawling, and repetitive motions, requiring a high level of physical stamina and endurance
