Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Member Loan Fulfillment Specialist to join our team at Apgfcu. As a key member of our loan origination team, you will be responsible for increasing the number of approved loans disbursed by building strong relationships with new and existing members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Member Service: Provide personalized, professional service to members, including scheduling and preparing members for loan closings, analyzing member needs, and cross-selling products and services to meet member needs.
  • Loan Service: Thoroughly interview members for loan closings, compile all necessary documentation for a complete loan file, and define collateral requirements and determine monthly payment schedules.
  • Sales Goals: Responsible for specific, measurable goals to increase the number of approved loans disbursed, credit life/disability insurance, and cross-sells based on credit union strategic goals.
  • Reports: Maintain records on loan activity and prepare loan summary reports, complete daily, weekly, and monthly statistical reports as required.
  • Quality Control: Maintain adherence to all Credit Union policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, while demonstrating professional service skills and financial integrity.
Requirements
  • Equivalent to High School education with additional broad specialized training equivalent to two years college.
  • Three to five years' experience with a financial institution, including experience interviewing loan applicants.
  • Knowledge of the features and benefits of financial institution products and services, consumer credit laws, and business math.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, problem solve, and make decisions.
