Insurance Verification Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Insurance Verification Specialist to join our team at Prescribe FIT, Inc. in Columbus, OH.

Job Summary:

The Insurance Verification Specialist will be responsible for verifying insurance coverage for new patients, confirming insurance benefits, and educating patients on their eligibility and financial responsibility. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Verify insurance coverage for new patients and confirm benefits
  • Educate patients on their insurance eligibility and financial responsibility
  • Maintain accurate records of the verification process, authorizations, and other important information
  • Research and identify changes to coverage for Remote Patient Monitoring codes across the country
  • Develop a database of industry trends for insurance providers

Requirements:

  • Insurance verification experience
  • Remote Patient Monitoring knowledge preferred
  • Insurance billing and claims experience a plus
  • Ability to navigate numerous insurance portals to review benefit coverage details
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
