Job Title: Field Service Technician

Job Summary:

Hirsch Solutions LLC is seeking a highly skilled Field Service Technician to join our team. As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for installing, troubleshooting, and repairing equipment at our customer's location. You will also provide training and telephone support for customers and participate in trade shows.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install and support equipment at customer locations
  • Familiarize and train customers on the essential operation of the equipment
  • Perform remote support and diagnostic analysis to determine if on-site corrective maintenance is required
  • Organize and prioritize schedule in accordance with customer requirements
  • Secure customer acceptance of installation and maintenance sign-off
  • Perform installation of new systems, preventive, and corrective maintenance
  • Communicate and work closely with Service and Support Center, Regional Service Management, and Customer Care Specialists

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of commercial embroidery or digital garment printers is a plus
  • Knowledge of electronics, circuitry, and strong technical and troubleshooting skills
  • Excellent customer focus with the ability to reliably respond to inquiries, communicate, and interact with customers with a range of technical expertise
  • Ability to read and understand electrical schematics and mechanical drawings
  • Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities to meet deadlines within a customer-focused work environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Degree in Electronics/Engineering or related fields or equivalent experience
  • Tech School
  • Formal Employment Technician experience: (automobile mechanic, diesel mechanic, commercial machinery repair, HVAC tech)
  • Some other form of hands-on technical experience

Software Knowledge:

  • Word processing software
  • Spreadsheet software
  • Email management
  • Data entry
  • Will train on task-specific company databases and software

Additional Eligibility Qualifications:

  • Must have a valid driver's license in good standing, pass a background check, and drug screening
  • Must be 21+ and able to rent a car as needed
  • Access to credit card to charge expenses
  • Comfortable laying out expenses until reimbursed (up to 2 weeks later)
