Facilities Engineer - Swedish Health Services

Schedule: Full-time, Swing Shift (8.5 hours per day, 3pm to 11:30pm, with a rotation schedule).

The Facilities Engineer is responsible for executing a range of skilled and semi-skilled activities associated with the upkeep, operation, and repair of building systems, structures, and relevant electrical, mechanical, environmental, and utility equipment.

Required Qualifications:

  • Educational Background: Proficiency in Mathematics, Mechanics, Electrical Systems, and Blueprint Interpretation.
  • Completion of a recognized apprenticeship program; OR holding full journey status; OR possessing extensive relevant work experience. Vocational training may be considered in lieu of work experience.
  • Fundamental Mechanical skills and aptitude.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in building construction, maintenance, and repair, preferably within a healthcare environment, demonstrating skills in electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and structural systems.
