The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED and 1-3 months of related experience with machine equipment. A valid driver's license is required, with a CDL preferred. You should be proficient in basic mechanical and electrical skills, able to use tools like wrenches, drills, and grinders, and familiar with DOT regulations, OSHA, MSHA, and other safety protocols. Additionally, you should be capable of reading blueprints and using equipment like mills, lathes, and other shop machinery. Experience with stocking, cleaning, and maintaining tools and trailers for specific job requirements is also essential. Strong organizational and communication skills are a must, along with the ability to lift and move heavy equipment (up to 100 lbs occasionally) and work in varied environmental conditions.
