Position Overview

Earth Smart Environmental Solutions, LLC is in search of an Environmental Hazardous Waste Chemist responsible for the collection, identification, and proper packaging of various hazardous and non-hazardous materials. This role involves ensuring compliance with EPA and DOT regulations during transportation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge and training relevant to job functions.
  • Assume responsibility for jobsite compliance and safety.
  • Oversee service delivery to meet or exceed client expectations.
  • Collaborate effectively within a team and provide leadership when necessary.

Required Qualifications:

A Bachelor’s degree in a scientific discipline (Chemistry, Environmental Science, Biology, or a related field with coursework in General and Organic Chemistry) is preferred, though relevant industry experience may be considered.

Experience in lab packing is advantageous but not mandatory.

A Class A or B CDL with HAZMAT endorsement is a plus, but not a requirement.

The ideal candidate should be capable of lifting up to 50 pounds.

A clean driving record is essential.

Veterans are encouraged to apply.

Compensation will be commensurate with experience.
