Key Responsibilities:

  • Assists in maintaining store staff by recruiting, orienting, and training associates to ensure a high-performing team.
  • Exercises independent and discretionary judgment in managing the store in the absence of the Sales Manager, ensuring seamless operations and exceptional customer service.
  • Responsible for maintaining smooth and efficient store operations, meeting established deadlines, and delivering exceptional customer experiences.
  • Helps maintain inventory control, ensuring that merchandise is properly displayed and tagged, and completes required administrative functions as necessary.
  • Supervises sales employees, including input in job assignments, hiring, firing, discipline, promotion, and other employment actions.
  • Maintains and protects company assets by adhering to and requiring employee adherence to all company policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • 1 to 3 years of previous retail experience required.
  • Minimum of 1 year of previous retail management experience preferred.
  • Excellent organizational and management skills are essential.
  • Able to manage multiple projects while working in a fast-paced retail environment.
  • Computer and clerical experience is preferred (MS Word and Excel).
  • High school diploma or GED is required.
  • Full-time retail schedule, including evenings/nights, weekends, and holidays, with overtime as needed.
