Job Description

AST SpaceMobile is a pioneering company building the first space-based cellular broadband network. Our mission is to provide seamless connectivity to the world, and we're seeking a skilled Master Production Planner to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain detailed production schedules to drive Material Requirements Planning (MRP) and ensure production capacity meets Service Operation Procedure (SOP) requirements.
  • Run and control MRP to guarantee production flexibility and achieve targeted inventory levels.
  • Collect and analyze data to generate MRP, load forecast data, and produce build plans for Contract Manufacturers.
  • Exercise independent judgment to develop problem-solving methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria.
  • Introduce and integrate new technologies and processes as needed.
  • Manage raw materials inventory levels and maintain necessary records and documentation in compliance with ISO system requirements.
  • Lead the Production Control Team in daily activities.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Supply Chain Management, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience with ERP Software, preferably NetSuite.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and Excel, with Power BI skills a plus.
  • Familiarity with MES software.
  • US citizenship or Permanent Resident Card Holder.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong business acumen and commercial understanding.
  • Ability to present to small to medium-sized groups.
  • Interpersonal skills and ability to establish best practice methods.
