Assistant Infant Care Educator

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Infant Care Educator to join our team at the Westside JCC's Early Childhood Center. As an Assistant Infant Care Educator, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and education to our youngest learners.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement engaging and play-based curriculum that promotes cognitive, social, and emotional development in infants and toddlers.
- Collaborate with lead teachers to create a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment that supports the unique needs of each child.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues to ensure a sense of community and belonging.
- Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current on best practices in infant care and education.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures that promote a safe and healthy environment for children and staff.
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field.
- At least 1-2 years of experience working with infants and toddlers in a group setting.
- Current TB clearance and ability to pass DOJ, FBI, and Child Abuse Index fingerprint clearance.
- Ability to lift children between 10-40 lbs on a regular basis.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- A competitive salary range of $35,000 - $45,000.
