Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Team Manager to lead our Prepared Foods team at Whole Foods Market. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, improving customer satisfaction, and fostering a positive work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Team Management: Provide guidance and support to team members, ensuring they have the necessary skills and resources to excel in their roles.
  • Customer Service: Foster a culture of exceptional customer service, ensuring that every customer interaction is positive and memorable.
  • Operations and Sales: Oversee daily operations, including inventory management, merchandising, and sales performance. Identify opportunities to drive sales growth and implement strategies to achieve targets.
  • Team Development: Develop and implement training programs to enhance team members' skills and knowledge, ensuring they are equipped to meet the needs of our customers.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Build strong relationships with department leaders, vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
Requirements
  • Experience: 24+ months of retail experience, including 12+ months of team leadership experience.
  • Skills: Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and develop team members. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to drive sales growth and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Certifications: Food safety certification, with the ability to obtain certification within 6 months if not already certified.
Working Conditions
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift 50 pounds, with frequent standing, walking, and bending.
  • Work Environment: Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment, with exposure to FDA-approved cleaning chemicals and temperatures up to 90 degrees Fahrenheit.
