Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Team Manager to lead our Prepared Foods team at Whole Foods Market. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, improving customer satisfaction, and fostering a positive work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Team Management: Provide guidance and support to team members, ensuring they have the skills and resources needed to succeed.
  • Customer Service: Foster a culture of exceptional customer service, ensuring that every customer interaction is positive and memorable.
  • Operations and Sales: Oversee daily operations, including inventory management, merchandising, and sales performance.
  • Team Development: Identify and develop talent within the team, providing opportunities for growth and advancement.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all team members are aware of and comply with relevant health and safety regulations.
Requirements
  • 24+ months retail experience, including 12+ months of team leadership experience.
  • Advanced knowledge of products, buying, pricing, merchandising, and inventory management.
  • Excellent interpersonal, motivational, team building, and customer relationship skills.
  • Food safety certification.
  • Proficient mathematical skills for assessing financial performance, monitoring profitability, and managing inventory.
Working Conditions
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
  • In an 8-hour work day: standing/walking 6-8 hours.
  • Ability to work in wet and dry conditions.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
