Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join our team at Centerpoint Medical Center. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for performing routine and specialized imaging procedures using computerized tomography (CT) scans. Your primary goal will be to provide high-quality images for physicians to diagnose and treat patients.

Responsibilities
  • Assist and position patients on the CT table for imaging procedures.
  • Start IVs for contrast injection and perform other necessary procedures.
  • Assess image quality and make adjustments as needed.
  • Release patients with proper post-procedure instructions.
  • Turn over and prepare rooms using aseptic technique between patients and clean/sterilize equipment.
  • Follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited AMA program with a certificate or degree in Radiology Technology.
  • Registered Computerized Tomography Technician (CT) certification must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date.
  • Registered Radiographer (ARRT) certification must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date.
  • BCLS certification required within 30 days of hire.
  • Two years of experience preferred with additional training in CT scanning.
  • On-call required and must have the ability to report to the facility within 30 minutes of call back.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.

We are part of HCA Midwest Health, a network of hospitals in Kansas City and surrounding areas.
